Geography is Not a Barrier: The internet has erased boundaries; connect with others globally to share ideas, collaborate, and get inspired from different cultures.
Show My Work Process: Don’t just show finished products; share my process, behind-the-scenes efforts, and progress to engage your audience and build a deeper connection.
Do Good Work and Share It: Focus on creating high-quality work, then share it with others to build connections, get feedback, and find opportunities.
Write the Book I Want to Read: Create what I love and what I wish existed, as my passion and interests are the best guides for my work.
Be Nice; The World is a Small Town: Build positive relationships and support others; word travels fast in creative communities, and kindness opens doors.
Steal Like an Artist: Embrace inspiration from other creators; collect ideas, remix them, and make them my own with a unique twist.
Creativity is Subtraction: Set constraints and embrace limitations to enhance creativity; stripping away excess often leads to stronger ideas.
Stay Curious and Keep Learning: Continuously explore new skills, ideas, and experiences; curiosity is the fuel for creativity and finding new sources of inspiration.
Be Boring: It's the only way to get work done. Embrace a consistent, disciplined routine that may seem "boring," as it is key to being productive and making progress.
Side Projects and Hobbies Matter: Pursue varied interests and side projects, as they often feed into my main work in unexpected and beneficial ways.
Don't Wait Until I Know Who I Am: Start creating even if I'm not sure who I am as an artist; clarity comes through the process of doing.
Use My Hands: Engage in hands-on work, not just digital; the physical act of creating sparks different ideas and perspectives.
